Day 5 + Reveiw

On Friday we got to eat a BUFFET BREAKFAST!! It was reeeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy gooood :) After breakfast me,  Charlotte and Xi went to Aaron and Mido's room to get the computers because they needed to be packed. Aaron was extremely grumpy when he opened the door and only gave us one box and a computer before he shut the door. He and Mido hadnt slept that much. Eventually we managed to get all the computers and boxes and took them up to our room. Me and Resa packed pretty quickley and went down to the lobby. Once everyone had arrived we checked out of the hotel and went to Hiroshima station. We had 20 minutes to buy lunch and souveniers, we went to a convenient store and brought some onigiris, then sat down in the tea shop and waited for everyone else. The train ride was much nicer this time because we didnt need to change like we did on Monday. For the first hour I tried to sleep, but I couldnt, so I just listened to music. Then we ate lunch and talked untill we reached Shin-Yokohama.

To be honest, I only chose Hiroshima because I am terrified of diving and because I really didnt want to hike. I didnt expect to enjoy this field studies as much as I did. I actually think that Hiroshima was the MOST FUN field studies I have had so far. I have lived in Japan for about 9 and a half years and never gone to Hiroshima or Nagasaki before and I didnt know a lot about the atom bomb or what happend. But after this trip I know so much more than before, and I got to meet an A bomb survivor, Matsubara san and hear her story. There aren't many people that have done that. The thing that affected me the most was reading the survivors own accounts of what happend in the museum and looking at their drawings and paintings. Their stories really showed how the bomb had horrible effects on the lives of the people in Hiroshima.

But my favorite thing about going to Hiroshima was all the fun times that I had with my friends, there are so many that its hard to remember... Here are some of them:
- jumping on the beds with Resa
- Mido running away from the monkeys (thinking that they were chasing him)
- Mido being chased by the two dears
- Charlotte running away from a dear
- Aaron and Mido eating Mcdonalds everyday
- watching the man play guitar and sing under the bridge
- stalking people (Aaron, random japanese people, couples in the japanese garden...)
- watching Kana chase the japanese couple with her camera
- going up and down the elevator in the department store
- wearing the japanese head things
- calling Charlotte and Xi's room just to annoy them.
AND MANY MORE....
